So since that seems to be what you are looking for, I pulled some additional pictures of some of my favorite manufacturers that I think do well in the area of ADA reception desks. I think you will agree that function and ADA compliance can come together in these reception desks without compromising design style.  The most inviting space in a lobby area is the reception desk or counter. This is most often the initial presentation to your quests. The reception area should be designed to help the user feel comfortable while creating a positive impression of the business and its facility.

 

The ability of a business to work effectively in receiving its users can have a tremendous impact on its guests. Special attention needs to be paid to the number and type of doors, ADA requirements, and traffic flow.  The reception desk or counter needs to be designed in such a way that the space, size and height as well as the working area are functional for both the employee and their guests.
